Research Interests


Phan’s research interests involve natural language processing, biomedical text mining, Web mining, and business intelligence. He is currently focusing on text mining for biomedical text including retrieving, analysing, and, summarizing large volumes of biomedical documents on in order to discover novel and interesting biomedical knowledge/facts (e.g., entity, relation, event, causal pathway, etc.), helping doctors and clinicians keep track new findings in medical research for better decision making in healthcare and treatment.
